Programme Associate – Temporary (364 days)

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a Programme Associate for a 364‑day temporary appointment in Vientiane. The role involves significant responsibilities in data analysis, budget tracking, reporting and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective programme delivery and compliance with organisational policies. UNICEF has been operating in Lao PDR since 1973 and implements one of its largest country programmes, focusing on children’s rights and basic services.

Required profile

• Completion of secondary education, preferably supplemented by technical or university courses related to the work
• Minimum six years of administrative or clerical work experience
• Experience in data analysis, budget tracking, reporting and stakeholder coordination
• Ability to exercise sound judgment, anticipate needs and recommend actions for programme planning and reporting
