Assistant – Distribution Center Operations (Inbound & Goods Receiving)

About the role

The Assistant, Distribution Center Operations supports DKSH's Supply Chain Management in Laos, ensuring that goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and safely. This position contributes directly to service reliability and operational excellence for the Consumer Goods business.

Key responsibilities

• Verify quantities and documentation of incoming goods to maintain inventory integrity.
• Perform put‑away activities, placing products in designated warehouse locations.
• Pick and pack orders accurately to meet on‑time dispatch targets.
• Assist with loading and unloading to support efficient inbound and outbound logistics.
• Handle goods safely to minimise loss and damage.
• Conduct daily and monthly stock counts for accurate inventory visibility.
• Maintain inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or manual logbooks.
• Escalate discrepancies, damages or variances to the Supervisor promptly.
• Complete and file all inbound and outbound documentation correctly.
• Follow warehouse safety protocols, report hazards and participate in safety checks.
• Perform administrative and coordination tasks as required.

Required profile

• Diploma in Business Administration or a related field.
• Prior warehouse or distribution experience is not required; relevant experience is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory handling.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Good numerical skills for accurate stock counting.
• Fluency in Lao and basic proficiency in written and reading English.
