Quality Assurance Associate (G-6) – Temporary (364 days)

About the role

UNICEF Laos is seeking a qualified Lao national to join the Country Office in Vientiane as a Quality Assurance Associate (G‑6) on a 364‑day temporary appointment. The role supports the interface between Operations and Programme areas, ensuring compliance with UNICEF policies, internal controls and risk‑management standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide quality assurance and compliance oversight for Programme Cooperation Agreements (PCAs) and Programme Documents (PDs).
• Conduct transactional reviews and monitor grant management, supply planning and monitoring processes.
• Support internal controls, reporting and audit activities across the office.
• Standardise processes and build capacity of staff in the use of UNICEF eTools.
• Undertake general support duties related to the position’s scope.

Required profile

• Lao national with secondary education in Business Administration or a related field; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Relevant experience in quality assurance, compliance, internal controls or audit support.
• Familiarity with UNICEF policies, risk‑management standards and programme documentation.
• Strong analytical and organisational abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with UNICEF eTools.
