Auto Electrical Technical Trainer

About the role

Phu Bia Mining Limited is seeking an Auto Electrical Technical Trainer to join its high‑performing, multicultural mining team. The role supports preventive and breakdown maintenance for a large mobile mining fleet and contributes to the development of a robust apprenticeship program.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver and continuously improve training modules for auto‑electrical trades.
• Oversee the Trades Apprenticeship Program, ensuring compliance with Phu Bia Mining standards.
• Supervise apprentices and site employees, providing daily on‑the‑job coaching and identifying improvement opportunities.
• Plan, organise and communicate training schedules to site supervisors.
• Conduct classroom and on‑site training sessions for local staff.
• Assist in developing curriculum, training facilities and assessment tools.

Required profile

• Qualified auto‑electrical trade trainer.
• Proven experience in trades training, including apprenticeship delivery.
• Background in auto‑electrical maintenance on heavy mining and earth‑moving equipment.
• Familiarity with CAT computerised systems and multi‑tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
