Lao Interpreter – Remote (Night Shift)

About the role

The position provides consecutive Lao‑English interpretation for live conversations such as doctor‑patient, banker‑client, and other professional interactions. Work is performed entirely from home in Laos, covering a wide range of sectors on a night‑shift schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret spoken Lao and English in real‑time, ensuring accurate conveyance of meaning.
• Handle telephone or video calls on demand, delivering consecutive interpretation for both simple and technical subjects.
• Maintain professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and use appropriate industry terminology across healthcare, finance, government, and other domains.

Required profile

• Excellent listening, retention, and note‑taking abilities with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to stay neutral, concentrate for extended periods, and quickly establish credibility with callers.
• Bilingual proficiency: B2 CEFR level in English and native fluency in Lao.

What we offer

• Monthly basic salary up to USD 1610.
• Full‑time night‑shift schedule (8‑hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week) with flexible start times.
