Officer, Payment Processing

About the role

The Officer, Payment Processing supports the payment processing area in delivering domestic and international payments submitted by customers through various channels, ensuring timely and accurate processing while maintaining high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Process domestic and international payments in accordance with bank policies.
• Reconcile and process all inward and outward payments within required time frames.
• Provide accurate regulatory reports on schedule.
• Deliver internal and external customer service consistent with ANZ strategies.
• Review and develop processes by eliminating unnecessary steps.

Required profile

• Knowledge of domestic and international payment processing (inward and outward).
• Experience in reconciliation, settlement, and payment processing with focus on accuracy.
• Ability to conduct internal and external case investigations.
• Strong team collaboration and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of operational risk and compliance policies.
• Effective time management to meet cut‑off times and service levels.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business or related discipline.
