Part-Time Remote Psychotherapist (Lao Speaking)

About the role

Spring Health is seeking part‑time, remotely based psychotherapists licensed in Laos to join its provider network. You will deliver evidence‑based mental health care through a tech‑enabled platform, serving employees of client companies who have accessed short‑term or ongoing employer health plans.

Key responsibilities

• Provide counseling sessions to adults (and optionally children, adolescents, couples, or families) using evidence‑based modalities.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date calendar and complete session documentation promptly within the scheduling system.
• Collaborate with Spring Health’s provider support, clinical care navigation, and administrative teams as needed.
• Deliver culturally competent, empathetic care while upholding diversity and inclusion values.
• Conduct safety planning and intervene when clients present higher risk situations.

Required profile

• Licensed to practice counseling/psychology in Laos with no need for clinical supervision.
• Minimum three years of independent clinical experience and liability insurance at market rates.
• Fluent in Lao and comfortable using tele‑health technology (computer or laptop with stable internet).
• Experience working with clients aged 6 years and older.
• Commitment to high‑quality clinical care and willingness to engage with feedback on client progress.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT, and CPT therapeutic approaches.
• Tele‑health platform competence and ability to document sessions electronically.
• Safety‑planning and risk‑assessment skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in a remote setting.
• Strong organizational skills for calendar and documentation management.
