Remote Lao Interpreter (Night Shift)

About the role

The company seeks a Lao‑English interpreter to work 100% remotely from Laos, primarily on night‑shift assignments. The role involves consecutive interpretation for live conversations across various sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consecutive interpretation for live conversations such as doctor‑patient, banker‑client, and similar interactions.
• Handle telephone or video calls on demand, interpreting between English and Lao.
• Interpret across sectors including healthcare, government, finance, travel, emergency services, law enforcement and general business.

Required profile

• Excellent listening, retention and note‑taking abilities with high accuracy.
• Ability to stay neutral, concentrate, follow client instructions and explain cultural concepts when needed.
• B2 CEFR English level, fluency in Lao, and capacity to work permanently from home.
