Senior Project Procurement Officer

About the role

The Senior Project Procurement Officer will lead the procurement planning and implementation for WWF‑Laos projects, ensuring compliance with donor and organisational policies. Based in Vientiane, the role involves regular travel to provincial sites to support project delivery and stakeholder coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review and update annual and quarterly procurement plans for the Nam Poui and Nam Houng landscapes.
• Prepare and manage procurement documents such as RFQs, tender specifications, purchase orders and contracts in line with WWF and donor requirements.
• Provide guidance on procurement policies and procedures to project teams and external partners.
• Track consultancy and service contracts, monitor deliverables, payment schedules and compliance.
• Maintain a procurement tracker and supplier database, ensuring all purchase requests are recorded and up‑to‑date.
• Coordinate delivery timelines, receive goods, conduct spot checks and report on procurement performance.
• Prepare procurement request forms (PRF) with supporting documentation for finance processing.
• Support finance and project coordination activities, including organizing workshops and training sessions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Business Law, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years practical experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within an INGO environment.
• Excellent command of English (reading, writing and speaking).
• Proven ability to work effectively in a multicultural setting and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop professionally.
