Agriculture Coordinator – Food Security & Livelihood

About the role

The Agriculture Coordinator will lead the planning and coordination of sustainable, nutrition‑sensitive and climate‑smart agricultural activities for the SUAN project in Saravan Province. Working closely with the District Agriculture and Environment Office and World Vision’s project team, the coordinator will help improve food security and nutrition for vulnerable households.

Key responsibilities

• Support the planning and implementation of project activities in collaboration with district authorities and partners.
• Develop and follow detailed work plans with DAEO staff and the project team.
• Implement nutrition‑sensitive agriculture interventions to boost household food security.
• Prepare regular progress reports and contribute to project documentation.
• Participate in meetings, workshops, and coordination activities as required.
• Promote gender equality, disability inclusion, and participation of vulnerable groups.
• Ensure effective monitoring, evaluation, reporting, and communication systems.
• Collect, verify, and submit timely data to meet reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Experience in planning and coordinating agricultural projects.
• Familiarity with nutrition‑sensitive and climate‑smart agriculture approaches.
• Ability to work closely with district authorities, NGOs, and community partners.
• Strong reporting and documentation skills.
• Commitment to gender equity and disability inclusion.
