Associate, Nutrition

About the role

The Associate, Nutrition will join CHAI’s Lao PDR team to help strengthen health systems by improving nutrition supply chains and data use. Working closely with the Ministry of Health and UNICEF, the role focuses on scaling a proven model that dramatically increased treatment linkage for severe acute malnutrition.

Key responsibilities

• Support the scaling of the nutrition supply‑chain model to six provinces in Lao PDR.
• Strengthen data utilization for nutrition commodities in partnership with the Ministry of Health and UNICEF.
• Coordinate with provincial health officials to ensure timely delivery of nutrition commodities.
• Collect and analyze program data to inform adjustments and improve prevention and treatment of wasting.

Required profile

• Interest in nutrition, public health and supply‑chain management.
• Ability to work collaboratively with government and international partners.
• Willingness to be based in Lao PDR and travel to project provinces.
