Financial Planning & Analysis Manager (Manufacturing)

About the role

EssilorLuxottica is seeking a senior Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to lead the finance function for its manufacturing plant in Laos. Reporting to the Regional Head of FP&A and working closely with the Plant Managing Director, you will own the full spectrum of budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, consolidation and presentation of the mid‑term plan, annual budget, re‑forecast and rolling three‑month forecasts.
• Control manufacturing cost evolution, reporting forecasts and actuals in the IBM TM1 costing system and analyse variance drivers.
• Prepare monthly financial results, explain major deviations, and update standard costs and transfer prices.
• Partner with the Plant MD and functional heads to optimise financial and operational performance.
• Supervise costing simulations, benchmarking and manage the FP&A team.
• Evaluate investments, monitor capital expenditure and support plant transformation projects, including migration from Oracle to SAP.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and Purchasing to optimise inventory levels and minimise obsolescence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of direct FP&A experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 3 years in a managerial role with solid knowledge of accounting principles and activity‑based costing.
