French Wine Liaison

About the role

AEnoteca, a leading importer and retailer of fine wines and spirits in Laos, seeks a French Wine Liaison to champion its French wine portfolio. The role involves engaging with customers, promoting wine culture, and supporting sales and marketing initiatives across the Lao market.

Key responsibilities

• Represent and promote AEnoteca’s French wine range to hotels, restaurants, retailers, and private clients.
• Conduct tastings, product presentations, dinner events, and other promotional activities.
• Collaborate with the sales team on client visits, product demonstrations, and sales drives.
• Assist the marketing team in creating educational and promotional wine content.
• Help plan and execute wine events, brand activations, and customer experiences.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the portfolio and continuously improve wine expertise.
• Prepare basic activity reports and relay customer feedback to management.

Required profile

• Native‑level proficiency in French with strong knowledge of French culture.
• Fluent or professional working proficiency in English.
• Basic wine knowledge; formal qualifications are a plus but not required.
• Experience in wine, hospitality, food & beverage, retail, events, sales, or customer service is preferred.
• Confident, friendly, and comfortable speaking with individuals and groups.
• Professional appearance and strong interpersonal skills.
• Flexible, dynamic, adaptable, and eager to learn.
• Willingness to relocate to Vientiane and work flexible hours for events.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic digital tools.
