Mechanical HVAC & Civil Maintenance Leader / Technician

About the role

We are looking for experienced professionals to lead and execute mechanical HVAC and civil maintenance activities on our Khammounane Province project. The role combines supervisory responsibilities with hands‑on technical work to ensure reliable operation of water treatment, HVAC, and ventilation systems.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of domestic water systems (storage tanks, booster pumps, sand filters, water softeners, UV sterilizers, chlorine dosing pumps), sewage/wastewater treatment plants, water heaters and storm‑water drainage pumps.
• Maintain split and cabinet air‑conditioning units, ventilation fans, ductwork, and smoke extraction fans.
• Lead a team of technicians, step in to perform tasks when needed, and mentor junior staff.
• Develop and manage preventive‑maintenance schedules, resolve critical incidents and ensure compliance with OEM manuals and client standards.
• Perform inspections, lubricate and overhaul pumps, replace valves and float switches, backwash sand filters, replace UV lamps, clean AC filters, recharge refrigerant and service ventilation equipment.
• Record operational parameters and promptly escalate any critical defects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Proven supervisory experience for the leader position; at least 5 years of hands‑on maintenance experience for the technician role.
• Demonstrated ability to follow SOPs, ensure safety compliance and mentor technicians.
