Senior General Trade Channel Executive

About the role

Unilever is looking for a highly driven Senior General Trade Channel Executive to lead in‑store execution excellence, trade visibility initiatives, and Perfect Store implementation across General Trade channels in Laos. The role focuses on driving execution standards, enhancing retail presence, and ensuring commercial priorities are delivered effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Lead deployment and governance of Perfect Store standards across all retail channels.
• Develop execution guidelines and store standards aligned with business strategies.
• Monitor Perfect Store KPI performance through regular market audits.
• Manage planning, allocation, deployment, and tracking of Point‑of‑Sale Materials (POSM).
• Ensure timely execution of visibility initiatives supporting brand and category objectives.
• Track monthly commercial priorities across all channels via field visits, retail audits, and digital tools.
• Collaborate with distributors and manage merchandising agencies to maintain consistent execution standards.
• Conduct coaching and capability‑building programs for sales teams on Perfect Store principles.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Management or related field.
• 2‑6 years of experience in Sales Operations, Trade Marketing, Channel Development or Commercial Execution within FMCG.
• Strong understanding of General Trade operations, Perfect Store concepts and retail execution standards.
• Proven experience managing POSM deployment, merchandising programs and distributor partnerships.
• Analytical skills with experience monitoring KPIs, retail audits and execution performance metrics.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management abilities.
• Willingness to travel extensively for market visits and field audits.
