Technical Advisor, Epidemiologist – Asia

About the role

The Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) is seeking a Technical Advisor, Epidemiologist for its Asia portfolio. In this position you will provide epidemiological expertise to support CHAI’s global malaria and neglected tropical disease (NTD) program, helping partner governments strengthen disease control and move toward elimination.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct technical and operational support to country programs to strengthen malaria and NTD initiatives.
• Assist governments in scaling up effective interventions for prevention, diagnosis, treatment and surveillance.
• Contribute to the design, implementation and monitoring of epidemiological activities that aim to reduce illness and death.
• Collaborate with regional teams to ensure data‑driven decision‑making and sustainable impact.

Required profile

• Advanced degree or equivalent experience in epidemiology, public health or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience working on malaria, NTDs or other infectious disease programs in Asia.
• Ability to work with government partners and multilateral stakeholders.
