Wireless Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Wireless Engineer to join ZTE Laos and support the delivery and optimisation of UMTS and LTE networks in the region. The role involves technical delivery, KPI achievement and close collaboration with customers and on‑site maintenance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead optimisation projects for UMTS and LTE wireless networks.
• Use network analysis tools such as TEMS and signalling analysis software to diagnose and improve performance.
• Provide on‑site assistance or remote guidance for network change operations.
• Deliver technical training and guidance to on‑site maintenance engineers.
• Facilitate technical communication and coordination with customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in telecommunications, computer science, electronics or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in wireless network optimisation or a similar role.
• Proficiency in English or Chinese for technical communication.
• Strong learning ability, teamwork orientation and good stress tolerance.

Required skills

• UMTS and LTE network technologies.
• Experience with TEMS and signalling analysis software.
• Network optimisation and performance analysis.
