About the role

We are looking for fluent bilingual speakers to join our remote interpreting team. As a Freelance Remote Hmong Interpreter, you will provide over‑the‑phone and video remote interpretation services in English and Hmong, supporting high‑stakes environments such as healthcare and legal settings.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver accurate, real‑time consecutive interpretation between English and Hmong.
• Facilitate clear communication in critical situations, including medical consultations and legal proceedings.
• Maintain strict confidentiality, neutrality, and professional conduct at all times.
• Manage your own schedule, log in reliably, and handle incoming interpretation calls.

Required profile

• Native or near‑native fluency in both English and Hmong.
• Strong active listening, cultural sensitivity, and emotional resilience.
• Beginners are welcome; prior interpreting experience is a plus.
• A quiet, distraction‑free home workspace.

Required skills

• Dedicated computer with reliable high‑speed internet (wired preferred for video).
• Noise‑cancelling USB headset for clear audio.
