General Manager – Asset Finance & Leasing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, commercially driven General Manager to lead our Asset Finance and Leasing business in Lao PDR. Reporting to the overseas Managing Director, you will shape strategy, drive growth, and ensure regulatory compliance while fostering a high‑performance, customer‑focused culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute long‑term vision and strategic plans aligned with shareholder expectations.
• Identify and pursue growth opportunities across key sectors of the Lao economy.
• Achieve revenue, profitability, and portfolio quality targets set by the Board.
• Oversee lending, leasing, collections, and recovery operations to ensure efficiency and service excellence.
• Maintain robust risk‑management frameworks and ensure compliance with Bank of Lao PDR regulations.
• Build and nurture relationships with automotive dealers, commercial partners, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in asset finance, leasing, or related financial services.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering sustainable growth.
• Deep understanding of regulatory environments and risk‑management practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
