Remote Lao Interpreter (Night Shift)

About the role

The company seeks a bilingual Lao‑English interpreter to provide consecutive interpretation for live conversations such as doctor‑patient, banker‑client, and other sectors. The position is 100 % remote, based in Laos, and operates on a night‑shift schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret spoken Lao and English consecutively during telephone or video calls for healthcare, finance, government, insurance, travel, emergency services and other domains.
• Maintain high accuracy by listening, retaining, and taking notes while staying neutral and objective.
• Explain cultural concepts when required and follow client instructions closely.

Required profile

• Excellent listening, retention and note‑taking abilities.
• Ability to concentrate, stay detached, and remain neutral.
• Strong credibility and ability to follow detailed instructions.
• B2 CEFR English level, fully bilingual in Lao and English.
• Available for night‑shift work (minimum 40 hours online per week) and able to work from home permanently.
