Assistant Manager Client Management

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Client Management drives sales performance and field execution excellence for DKSH’s Consumer Goods business in Laos. The role aligns team efforts with client strategies, ensuring measurable results across the market. You will lead exclusive and shared sales teams, oversee in‑store standards and coordinate promotional activities.

Key responsibilities

• Consistently achieve monthly sales targets by leading and motivating exclusive and shared sales teams.
• Elevate in‑store standards through product visibility, must‑stock‑list compliance, planogram adherence, distribution coverage and pricing compliance.
• Lead execution of market promotions, including premium giveaways and pricing promotions, to drive consumer engagement and sales uplift.
• Monitor and optimise budget utilisation by tracking spend and aligning resources with business priorities.
• Strengthen campaign effectiveness by providing feedback and recommendations on monthly activities and promotional initiatives.
• Deliver timely market intelligence and monitor market movements to support strategic decision‑making.
• Supervise Product Consultants and Merchandisers in daily execution and additional assignments to ensure high‑performing field teams.
• Collaborate closely with the Marketing Executive to align field activities with marketing strategies and brand objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or MBA in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry, including 2–3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong analytical capability with solid knowledge of statistical analysis methods.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills for productive stakeholder engagement.
• Fluency in the local language and English, both written and spoken.
