Head of Accounting and Finance

About the role

The Head of Accounting and Finance will lead all accounting and finance functions for Lao Bullion Bank, a gold‑based financial institution in Vientiane. This senior, full‑time position ensures accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and supports the bank’s strategic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and review of financial statements, monthly and annual closings.
• Develop and manage budgeting, cash‑flow forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards such as LBMA.
• Provide analytical insights and risk assessments to senior management for decision‑making.
• Coordinate with regulators, external auditors, and senior leadership to uphold financial stability.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of senior‑level experience in finance or accounting within commercial banking.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA, ACCA or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Proven leadership experience managing accounting and finance teams.
• Strong integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work cross‑functionally.
• Fluent English; Lao language knowledge is an asset.
