Production Team Leader – Entry Level Supervisory Role

About the role

We are looking for a Production Team Leader 1 to oversee daily manufacturing activities at our facility in Kaysone Phomvihane, Savannakhet. This entry‑level supervisory position reports to a first‑level manager and is responsible for coordinating resources, ensuring on‑time delivery of quality products, and maintaining operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive daily production schedules from planning and material from logistics.
• Coordinate materials, personnel, and equipment to meet production targets within budget.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks, manage controllable operating expenditures such as scrap and consumables.
• Guide continuous improvement initiatives and monitor limits to production capacity.
• Conduct return‑to‑work interviews and first‑level disciplinary hearings in a timely and consistent manner.

Required profile

• Knowledge of production processes, tools, equipment and ISO standards.
• Understanding of how decisions affect customer satisfaction, product quality, on‑time delivery and profitability.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven capability to lead, train and motivate a diverse workforce in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Experience using Lotus (e.g., Lotus Notes or Lotus Domino).
