Assistant CD Capability Manager

About the role

As an Assistant CD Capability Manager at Unilever, you will support the development and deployment of Customer Development capability in Laos. You will equip distributor, field and CD teams with the right skills, tools and ways of working to drive sustainable growth and execution excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular capability needs analyses across CD functions and field execution teams to identify gaps.
• Implement the field‑sales capability framework and development roadmap, ensuring alignment with business direction.
• Execute capability development programmes that up‑skill CD functions and field sales teams.
• Develop high‑quality learning materials such as slide decks, workbooks and exercise sheets, and customise them for local needs.
• Deliver, facilitate and coordinate learning events including workshops, webinars, seminars and round‑tables.
• Provide ongoing coaching and field capability reinforcement to ensure learning is applied.
• Maintain robust tracking of learning acquisition, evaluate programme effectiveness and drive sustainable completion rates.
• Support the rollout of key projects, initiatives and tools that advance the CD function and Unilever’s business.

Required profile

• Experience in learning design, training delivery or capability development, preferably within a sales or consumer‑goods environment.
• Strong analytical ability to assess capability gaps and design appropriate interventions.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills to engage diverse audiences.
• Proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement and results.
