Customer Strategy & Planning Executive – 1-Year Contract

About the role

This is a critical 1‑year contract position responsible for representing the voice of Customer Business Development across the organisation. The role drives channel and category strategy, pricing, promotions and brand equity for FMCG products in Laos.

Key responsibilities

• Support channel strategy and execution, collaborating with key accounts on tailored promotions and integrating them with marketing plans.
• Assist in costing, pricing, project management and premium sourcing together with Brand and Key Account Managers.
• Coordinate with sales teams to ensure smooth implementation of trade‑marketing initiatives.
• Manage deployment of POSM, GWP, quantity allocation and storage, liaising with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Lead activation projects, monitor planning and execution of major events, roadshows and annual launches.
• Review activation performance against ROI and KPI targets.
• Oversee new product pipeline (PIPO) execution, monitor slow‑moving SKUs and support clearance plans.
• Draft trade communications such as delistment notices, listing changes and price announcements.
• Track and optimise trade spend on POSM and GWP, improving deployment timelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in channel and category development or trade marketing within the FMCG industry.
• Proven ability to manage critical topics, drive execution and collaborate cross‑functionally.
