Environment & Social Officer

About the role

The Environment & Social Officer supports the Senior Chief Engineer – Environment & Social in ensuring compliance with the Concession Agreement and the Environmental Management and Monitoring Plan during the operation phase.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all works related to the Concession Agreement and EMMP-OP.
• Prepare reports and documents, and administer environmental and social monitoring activities.
• Develop and maintain the project environmental and social database and generate data for presentation.
• Conduct sampling and laboratory analysis of water and related fields.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 management systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or a related social field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the environment & social sector.
• Familiarity with ISO 14001 and Concession Agreement requirements.
• Good communication skills in English.
