Junior Scientific Programmer – C++ & Python

About the role

We are looking for a junior scientific programmer to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of software solutions used for energy sector forecasting. The role involves working with the Alea platform and leveraging both C++ and Python to create new functionalities and models.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain applications that generate energy forecasts.
• Enhance existing software by adding new features and improving performance.
• Collaborate with domain experts to translate scientific models into production‑ready code.
• Perform data analysis and processing to support model validation.

Required profile

• Junior‑level experience in scientific programming.
• Strong understanding of software development best practices.
