About the role
The company seeks a native Lao speaker to provide consecutive interpretation for a variety of sectors, working entirely from home on night shifts.
Key responsibilities
- Interpret live conversations between doctors and patients, bankers and clients, and other professionals.
- Handle telephone or video calls on demand, delivering accurate consecutive interpretation in English and Lao.
Required profile
- Native Lao nationality with bilingual proficiency (B2 CEFR English level).
- Excellent listening, note‑taking, and concentration skills; ability to remain neutral and objective.
Required skills
- Consecutive interpretation experience across healthcare, finance, government, insurance, utilities, travel, emergency services, law enforcement, and general business.
- Ability to explain cultural concepts when requested by the client.
