Laotian-English Medical Interpreter (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Laotian‑English medical interpreter to deliver professional interpretation services remotely. The successful candidate will support healthcare providers and patients by accurately conveying medical information between Laotian and English speakers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide real‑time interpretation for medical consultations, telehealth sessions, and related documentation.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations while handling sensitive health information.
• Assist in translating medical forms, discharge summaries, and patient instructions as needed.
• Collaborate with clinicians, administrators, and patients to clarify terminology and improve communication.

Required profile

• Fluency in both Laotian and English, with C1‑level proficiency in English.
• At least three years of experience in medical or legal interpretation.
• Strong listening and communication abilities.
• Reliable high‑speed internet connection and a suitable remote work environment.
• Willingness to complete onboarding and assessment procedures.
