Maintenance Mechanic – Production Plant

About the role

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for troubleshooting, fault diagnosis and ensuring optimal performance of production equipment at the Vientiane plant.

Key responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting and fault diagnostics to minimise equipment downtime.
• Carry out planned maintenance inspections (CIL, PM1, PM2) during service windows or production downtime.
• Report abnormalities to the line technical leader and support corrective actions.
• Execute annual machine overhauls in compliance with health, safety and quality standards.
• Provide data for breakdown analysis and help define preventive actions.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• 2‑3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read mechanical and P&ID drawings.
• Good communication skills and English proficiency.
• Willingness to work shifts, including nights and weekends.
