Marketing Executive – Vientiane, Laos

About the role

Join DKT Mekong as a Marketing Executive in Vientiane, Laos. You will support the Country Manager in designing and implementing marketing and trade initiatives that drive growth in the public health and FMCG sectors. The role combines strategic planning with on‑the‑ground market visits and bilingual communication.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute strategic marketing and trade programs across Laos.
• Facilitate Lao‑English translation for regional marketing materials, conferences, and stakeholder visits.
• Collaborate with the Sales team to strengthen distributor networks, pharmacy listing schemes, and clinic outreach.
• Conduct regular market visits, monitor competitor activity, and propose initiatives to increase product off‑take.

Required profile

• Professional/native‑level fluency in Lao and English (verbal and written).
• Legal authorization to work in Laos and residence in or willingness to relocate to Vientiane.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Medical Sciences (Pharmacy, Nursing, Biology, Medicine) or Business/Marketing.
• 3–5 years of experience in FMCG or the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive attitude, strong problem‑solving and networking abilities.
• Valid driving licence and personal vehicle are a plus.
