Senior Brand Manager

About the role

The Senior Brand Manager will lead transport and distribution operations for the brewery, ensuring finished goods move efficiently from production to customer warehouses and outlets while meeting OTIF targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage movement of finished goods from brewery to RDC/NDC and coordinate inter‑warehouse transfers.
• Align with warehouse and planning teams to optimise load consolidation, timing and mode selection based on production schedules and demand forecasts.
• Oversee delivery to customer warehouses and outlets, working with sales and customer service to meet delivery windows and maintain high OTIF performance.
• Develop efficient routes and schedules, balancing vehicle utilisation, lead time and cost while aligning capacity with demand forecasts.
• Monitor collection efficiency of returnable assets (pallets, crates, kegs) to improve full‑truck‑load opportunities and reduce replacement costs.
• Control overall transport and distribution costs, securing OTIF within budget and supporting rate negotiations with cost models.
• Manage performance of external transport providers (3PLs, carriers) against KPIs such as OTIF, transit time, damage rates and safety.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives including load factor optimisation, cost‑to‑serve reduction, mode optimisation and back‑hauling opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business administration or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in transport and distribution management, preferably in FMCG.
• Knowledge of customs, cross‑border logistics and safety regulations.
• Strong cross‑functional communication skills to align planning, warehousing, sales and customers.
• Proven ability to resolve operational bottlenecks and implement root‑cause corrective actions.
• Experience managing contracts and collaborating with 3PL providers.
