Freelance Market Research Analyst – Laos

About the role

Euromonitor International is seeking a detail‑oriented freelance analyst to support regional and international research projects. The role is remote and project‑based, focusing on secondary research, store visits, trade interviews, and data analysis across various industries.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct secondary desk research on industries, companies, and consumer trends.
• Perform store visits and retail audits to collect brand and product information.
• Execute cold calls and trade interviews with companies and associations to gather qualitative and quantitative insights.
• Analyse data, perform calculations and estimate market sizes.
• Interpret findings and develop clear, structured business insights and actionable recommendations.
• Prepare client‑ready deliverables such as written analyses, presentations, databases and reports.

Required profile

• Professional fluency in English; local language proficiency is a plus.
• Strong numeracy skills and ability to cross‑reference diverse data sources.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
• Prior experience in market research or consulting, with exposure to trade interviews, store audits, report writing or desk research.
