Channel & CD Excellence Manager

About the role

Unilever is seeking a Channel & CD Excellence Manager to lead commercial execution, channel development and retail excellence across Laos. The role will oversee Perfect Store implementation, drive channel growth strategies and manage the Champa program to ensure sustainable business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Perfect Store deployment and set execution standards across priority channels.
• Drive retail excellence, outlet transformation and in‑store execution improvements.
• Develop channel growth strategies for General Trade and Emerging Channels.
• Manage route‑to‑market optimisation and channel transformation initiatives.
• Oversee Trade Terms Structure (TTS) and Brand Marketing Investment (BMI) budgets.
• Lead Champa program strategy, deployment and performance management.
• Manage agency partners, field teams and performance scorecards.
• Build capabilities and improve productivity of frontline teams.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and distributor partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Management, Economics or related field.
• Experience in Customer Development, Sales, Trade Marketing, Channel Development, Commercial Excellence or FMCG.
• Strong understanding of General Trade, Emerging Channels, retail execution and route‑to‑market models.
• Experience managing field sales, retail activation programmes or agency partners.
• Stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Experience in Laos or similar developing markets is an advantage.
