Operation Excellence Supervisor (Manufacturing)

About the role

Lao Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Ltd., the official bottler of The Coca-Cola Company in Laos, is hiring an Operation Excellence Supervisor (Manufacturing) in Vientiane Capital. The role reports to the Plant Manager and supervises the production line team to help them meet performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the production line team and give management support so they reach their goals.
• Plan and coordinate the training and development of each production team member and arrange access to suitable courses.
• Plan and coordinate the introduction and maintenance of new products or processes, and look for ways to optimise them.
• Provide and seek ongoing feedback and direction as planned or unplanned changes affect the business.
• Plan, coordinate, review and improve safety, health and environment systems and procedures affecting people and production.
• Assist the Production Manager with minor factory projects and give technical input to major projects.
• Lead the costing, saving, performance, quality and safety improvement project supporting business objectives.
• Monitor and review production process costs against budget and create value in the process.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing or Food Engineering, Computer Engineering / IT or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in FMCG manufacturing production.
• Experience with manufacturing processes, shop floor operations or production systems is a must.
• Knowledge of food processing units and equipment.
• Open to Lao nationals only.

Required skills

• Project management skills and the ability to think on your feet.
• Advantageous: SAP HANA and WMS knowledge and experience.
• Advantageous: Continuous Improvement, Lean, Six Sigma or Data Analytics; data tools such as Power BI and Excel.
• Change management knowledge and ability to support users in adopting new processes or systems.
• Service-minded, works well under pressure with minimal supervision.
