Senior Finance Executive – Accounts Payable

About the role

Unilever is looking for a Senior Finance Executive to lead end‑to‑end Accounts Payable and payment operations in Laos. The role ensures strong governance, process excellence, and digital discipline while supporting the company’s purpose of creating a better business and a better world.

Key responsibilities

• Process invoices from receipt to payment, ensuring compliance with company policy and uploading to the AP workflow.
• Reconcile and control AP processes with third‑party vendors, perform AP aging, and manage custom pre‑payments, freight, customs, and goods receipts.
• Maintain filing systems for debit notes, supplier invoices, tax receipts, and contracts.
• Oversee full payment cycle, including overseas payments, foreign‑exchange purchases, vendor master data, and manual/host‑to‑host payments.
• Conduct weekly/monthly bank forex control and support document processing with ministries, banks, and tax authorities.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Proficient in English with strong communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Excellent time‑management, accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the finance function.
