Auto Electrician – Mechanical & Hydraulic Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking an Auto Electrician to join our drilling services team in Anouvong. The role focuses on mechanical and hydraulic maintenance of a wide range of conventional and CNC machine tools, ensuring reliable operation in a demanding industrial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and hydraulic maintenance on conventional and NC/automatic machine tools.
• Dismantle, move, assemble, install and repair lathes, mills, punch presses, die‑casting machines, injection/compression molding machines and automatic screw machines.
• Lubricate machine tools and equipment and replace parts on small tools such as pneumatic spray units, bench grinders, sanders and drills.
• Execute plumbing hook‑ups, including soft/hard soldering and bending of copper or steel tubing for fluid, pneumatic or hydraulic systems.
• Conduct gas welding, brazing, and read/interpret layout plans, blueprints, manuals and engineering sketches.
• Troubleshoot equipment, isolate faults, disassemble components and replace bearings, gears and structural parts.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on mechanical systems.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 + years of hands‑on experience in mechanical or hydraulic maintenance.
• Ability to work from verbal instructions and technical documentation.
