Logistics Manager

About the role

Mascot Laos is looking for an experienced and motivated Logistics Manager to join its Logistics Department at the garment factory in VITA Park Industrial Zone, Vientiane. The successful candidate manages and coordinates logistics and warehouse activities, ensures the efficient flow of materials and finished goods, and maintains high standards of accuracy, efficiency and compliance. The role sits within the Mascot Laos management group and reports directly to the Managing Director.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and control the budgets of the Logistics and RMQC departments and follow up expenditures regularly.
• Liaise with customs and other authorities, and manage shipments through all ports of entry with customs brokers, freight forwarders and third parties, working with the Mascot Vietnam Logistics Manager.
• Monitor warehouse inventory levels, shelf life, stock counts and import/export volumes, in collaboration with the Mascot Vietnam Supply Chain department.
• Review, check, verify and approve shipping documents, and help prepare databases, reports and presentations for the Managing Director.
• Work with the Health and Safety Manager on safety standards and training, and maintain equipment in approved condition.
• Recruit logistics and RMQC staff with HR, plan and run training and development programmes, and manage staff performance.
• Oversee laboratory and incoming inspection of raw materials, follow inspection plans and track quality defects with suppliers.
• Ensure timely, quality deliveries and cooperation across departments.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in economic and business management, logistics or supply chain management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in operations, logistics or supply chain management.
• Fluent English; secondary languages such as Vietnamese are welcome.
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations, export/import processes and trade compliance.
• Hands-on managerial experience focused on continuous improvement and team training.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office - Excel.
• ERP and warehouse management systems such as SAP (preferred).
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
