Sales Development Manager

About the role

Lao Brewery Co., Ltd. (LBC), a beverage producer founded in 1973 and jointly owned by the Lao government and Carlsberg Breweries, is looking for a Sales Development Manager. The role leads sales execution excellence by developing, implementing and improving in-store execution standards, PICOS guidelines, performance measurement systems and sales capability programs, and works closely with Marketing, Channel and Field Sales teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and improve market sales execution through the LBC In-Store Execution Model (FIT)
• Develop and refine Picture of Success (PICOS) guidelines for product assortment and visibility
• Ensure execution priorities match strategy and meet targets with the Sales Management team
• Publish monthly sales execution reports and hold monthly reviews with the Sales Management Team
• Conduct frequent market visits to check compliance with policies and principles
• Set up execution measurements using Salesforce Automation and other systems
• Build and run sales capability, training and coaching programs, including onboarding for new sales staff
• Define annual and quarterly KPIs and bonus schemes for the sales force
• Manage the Market Audit Team to gather market insights and competitive intelligence
• Work with Marketing, channel and field sales teams to share best practices

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management or a related field; supervisory or managerial sales experience preferred
• At least 4 years of experience in sales, trade marketing and marketing in consumer products
• Leadership, communication, coaching and mentoring skills
• Fluent written and spoken English

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Good presentation and public speaking skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
