Mine Technical Services Manager - Expat SE Asia

About the role

The Mine Technical Services Manager will lead a multidisciplinary team delivering technical services for a complex multi‑asset mining operation in South East Asia. Working on a 28/14 FIFO roster, you will oversee both open‑pit and underground sites, reporting directly to senior site leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end delivery of mine technical services, ensuring safety, efficiency and cost‑effectiveness.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams covering mine planning, geology, geotechnical, surveying and project delivery.
• Manage budgets, contractor performance and technical risk across surface and underground operations.
• Drive continuous improvement and capability development within the technical function.
• Align technical outputs with production targets and broader business objectives.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in mining, with at least 10 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record as a Mine Superintendent or Mine Technical Services Manager on complex open‑pit and underground projects.
• Experience managing budgets, contractors and cross‑functional teams.
• Prior expatriate experience and ability to work in a culturally diverse, fast‑moving environment.
