Laotian Interpreter – 100% Remote

About the role

We are seeking a Lao‑English interpreter to work remotely from Laos, providing consecutive interpretation for a variety of sectors including healthcare, finance, government and emergency services. The role is 100% night shift with flexible start times.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret live conversations between doctors, patients, bankers, clients and other professionals.
• Handle telephone or video calls on demand, delivering accurate consecutive interpretation.
• Explain cultural concepts when required to avoid miscommunication.

Required profile

• Native Lao speaker with C1‑level English proficiency (bilingual).
• Excellent listening, note‑taking and retention skills.
• Ability to stay neutral, objective and maintain confidentiality.

Required skills

• Proficiency in consecutive interpretation techniques.
• Familiarity with industry terminology across healthcare, finance, government, emergency services and general business.
